The Artist's Eyes by Jenn Lee

17′ x 30′ Safari themed mural donated to The American Cancer Society for one of their many donation dinners. This event was held inside of a private airplane hanger in Fresno, CA. There were many local businesses approached for donation of items or services as seen in the photos. I felt very honored to be approached to create this mural for the AMC. In the creation process of this mural I sketched out the entire scene in crayons. There were a handful of volunteers that painted in the base coats inside all the color coded sketches. After they were done painting the base coats, I went back in and added all the detail to the entire scene. This project was given to me a week and a half before it was needed which was a challenge. I completed the final brush stroke late the evening before. If I had to do it over again…I would do it in a heartbeat even with the challenges.
